Our Story
It began with one stubborn question.
Why should a beautiful house be interrupted by clumsy windows? In 1999, in a small fabrication unit outside Delhi, Parallel began answering that question one opening at a time — grinding down sightlines, importing hardware nobody else would pay for, and refusing to sell a system that had not been drawn for the building it was going into.
Twenty-five years later the practice spans design studios, a controlled manufacturing facility and installation crews working across 48 cities. The question has not changed. Neither has the answer: build it properly, or do not build it.

Sanjay Gupta founded Parallel on a conviction that architectural hardware and glazing in India deserved the same rigour as the world's finest systems. Trained as an engineer and drawn into architecture by an obsession with detail, he still reviews every bespoke elevation before it enters production.
That discipline shows up in the small things — a drainage slot you will never see, a gasket profile revised four times, a handle chosen because it still feels right after ten thousand mornings.

Profiles
6063-T6 architectural billet, sourced from certified smelters and tested batch by batch.
Coating
Qualicoat class-2 powder coating on chromated aluminium, 1000+ hours salt-spray verified.
Fabrication
CNC machining centres, controlled corner crimping and in-line dimensional QC on every unit.
Glazing
Toughened and laminated IGUs assembled in dust-controlled conditions with argon fill.
Testing
